Nataliya Yacheistova has entered the duties of the Trade Representative of Russia in The Netherlands in June 2003 according to the Decree by the Government of the Russian federation.

Dr. Yacheistova has graduated Moscow State Institute of International Relations and subsequently the Russian Academy of Governmental Service. She holds the Doctor’s degrees in Economy and Law.

The professional background of Dr. Yacheistova includes the work with the All-Russia Market Research Institute, Ministry for Foreign Trade of Russia and the Ministry for Antimonopoly Policy and Support to Entrepreneurship of the Russian Federation. Her occupational profile is comprised of many achievements in academic, legislative and organizational activities in the spheres of external economic as well as competition policies. During working with the Ministry for Foreign Trade of Russia, Dr. Yacheistova focused her efforts on the issues related to Russia’s cooperation with WTO and EC.

Nataliya Yacheistova is the author of numerous publications on competition policy, external economic policy and international cooperation issued in Russia and abroad. In particular, one of the treatise by Dr. Yacheistova is a monograph on “International Competition: legislation, regulation and cooperation” (UNCTAD / ITCD / CLP / Misc.20, New-York-Geneva, 2000).

Dr. Yacheistova speaks English and German.
