Socialise with your colleagues; enjoy the canals and the beauty of Amsterdam in winter! Indulge in a historic surrounding and let live music put you in a relaxed mood!

An Amsterdam canal boat will pick you up. Enjoying a glass of champagne you will see the ancient part of Amsterdam.

You disembark at one of the oldest historical buildings of Amsterdam, the "Schreierstoren". This tower was built being part of the first defence dike (zeedijk) against the sea and the enemies (1485). In those days Amsterdam was facing the open Sea (zuiderzee). The story goes that the name Schreierstoren (Schreien means crying) was given to the tower because the sailors' wives were waving goodbye to their beloved when the left with the many ships to dangerous and unknown places.

Now this place is an authentic VOC Cafe with the "Gentlemen Room" and a Jenever [Liquor] tasting room. VOC stands for "Verenigde Oostindische Compagnie" or the famous "Dutch East India Company".

Original Dutch harmonica sailor songs will welcome the party.

A grand Italian buffet (abbuffata) will be available in the back room and beers, wines and sodas will be served through the evening (free drinks till 22.00).

During the buffet a Latin American Trio will entertain you.

DJ Groove Yard will get you after the buffet in the right mood.

The leisure evening on Thursday includes a boat trip, dinner, drinks and live music. You can also bring your spouse, friends etc. Costs per person: [incl. VAT]: 90,-
