Ronald K.A.M. Mallant
Programme Manager Fuel Cells, Energy Research Centre of the Netherlands
born in Singapore, 1953. Studied Geophysics at the University
of Utrecht in the Netherlands.
Initiated the Solid
Polymer Fuel Cell R&D activities at ECN in 1990.
In close collaboration
with industrial partners, ECN Fuel Cell Technology develops materials,
components, stacks and system components for stationary and automotive
applications of fuel cells. Fuel cells constitute an efficient
zero-emission energy conversion technology suitable for both in
the current fossil fuel based energy system, as well as in a future
